Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about software quality assurance and eager to learn. The QA Manual Tester will assist in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through manual testing processes. The candidate will work closely with experienced team members to gain hands-on experience in testing methodologies and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure software quality.
- Document and track defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear communication of issues to the development team.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing progress and learn about Agile methodologies.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues and improve overall product quality.
- Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Learn and apply best practices for software testing and quality assurance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills for reporting defects and collaborating with team members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with manual testing concepts and techniques.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Any relevant internships or projects related to software testing will be an advantage.
